About the role
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers during the sales cycle.
- Lead technical discussions and present tailored security solutions.
- Use your expertise to help customers address challenges related to data discovery, posture management, and compliance.
- Design and deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts that effectively showcase our solution's capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, customer success) to align on customer needs and ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales.
- Guide customers through the technical sales cycle, from understanding their business needs to architecting security solutions and proving their value.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a pre-sales or sales engineering role.
- A solid understanding of data security and/or cloud infrastructure security concepts.
- Experience engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, from technical teams to business leaders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Understanding of data and privacy and security standards such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GLBA, and NYDFS.
- Familiarity with data security frameworks including DSPM (Data Security Posture Management).
- Experience with modern cloud computing including Linux, Kubernetes, or various data systems (e.g., MongoDB, AWS S3, etc.).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or cloud-specific certs).
