About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support people living with obesity to make sustainable lifestyle and behaviour changes
  • Provide nutritional and lifestyle interventions in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct independent remote clinical assessments via video call and telephone
  • Allocate service users to appropriate treatment pathways
  • Deliver digital group-based and one-to-one interventions
  • Facilitate in-person group sessions at South London sites
  • Support service users on medicated and non-medicated programmes
  • Attend MDT meetings to review, monitor, and optimise patient care
  • Participate in clinical supervision for complex or high-risk cases
  • Identify and manage clinical risk, including safeguarding concerns
  • Maintain CPD, clinical supervision, and HCPC registration requirements
  • Handle patient data confidentially in accordance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR
  • Contribute to innovation projects, service evaluation, and programme development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified HCPC-registered Dietitian
  • HCPC registration as a Dietitian is required
  • BSc or MSc in Dietetics (or equivalent recognised qualification)
  • Experience working in a weight management, bariatric, or eating disorder setting
  • Proven experience delivering group-based programmes in person and digitally
  • Solid understanding of obesity and weight stigma
  • Experience or training in health coaching, behaviour change, or motivational interviewing
  • Ability to provide supportive, empathetic, patient-centred care to patients with complex physical and mental health needs
  • Ability to travel reliably to South London sites
  • Confidence working autonomously from home and face-to-face on site
  • Experience managing a caseload and collaborating with a doctor-led multidisciplinary team
  • Experience coordinating healthcare services, including scheduling, attendance monitoring, patient follow-up, GP letters, and protocol revision
  • Experience using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar programmes
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments and adapt to evolving service needs
  • Confidence using technology for patient care, including patient notes and in-app coaching
  • Full driving licence and access to a car desirable, not required
