About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the continuous delivery of safe, effective, and cost-efficient pharmaceutical care across a diverse pediatric population.
- Support the full lifecycle of medication use across various outpatient care sites.
- Provide direct clinical intervention, patient advocacy, and expert consultation on complex pediatric regimens.
- Optimize patient outcomes and maintain seamless operational flow during assigned shifts.
- Provide vital shift-based operational oversight by directing the medication use process.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Washington.
- Previous hospital, pediatric, or pharmacy clinical residency training.
- Experience operating or supporting automated dispensing systems, electronic medical records (EMR), or specialized pharmacy technology solutions.
- One (1) year of pharmacist experience in a retail or outpatient pharmacy or equivalent.
- One (1) year of pharmacist experience in a hospital pharmacy setting or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of fast-paced retail, outpatient, IV room, and OR pharmacy experience with a focus on pediatrics.
- Detailed working knowledge of USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800 pharmaceutical compounding safety standards.
