About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform individualized patient procedures, treatment, and tests in an Urgent Care setting
- Perform clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies, and answering telephones
- Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations
- Monitor clinic flow
- Work primarily in Bellevue and South, with potential assignment to any Seattle Children’s Urgent Care location based on business need
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Medical Assistant Certified by Washington State Department of Health (DOH) prior to start date
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program (preferred)
- Medical Assistant or medical office experience (preferred)
- Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization (preferred)
- Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification (preferred)
