About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform individualized patient procedures, treatment, and tests in an Urgent Care setting
  • Perform clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies, and answering telephones
  • Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations
  • Monitor clinic flow
  • Work primarily in Bellevue and South, with potential assignment to any Seattle Children’s Urgent Care location based on business need

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Medical Assistant Certified by Washington State Department of Health (DOH) prior to start date
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
  • Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program (preferred)
  • Medical Assistant or medical office experience (preferred)
  • Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization (preferred)
  • Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification (preferred)
