Become a trusted business advisor to C-level executives in sports and live entertainment
Partner with sales in generating opportunities, progressing prospects through the sales funnel, developing stakeholder relationships, and winning buy in
Facilitate immersive on-site business value workshops with a cross-section of decision makers, and synthesize findings into compelling sales presentations
Conduct deep discovery on prospect objectives, challenges, technical requirements, and current-state pain points
Educate prospects on the core capabilities, use cases and value drivers of the SeatGeek platform and influence their outlook on ticketing strategy, requirements & success criteria
Co-innovate with prospects to shape future whitespace technical capabilities, and advocate internally to prioritize those concepts on our product roadmap
Calculate and defend incremental revenue & cost savings projections for prospects based on past business performance and relevant SeatGeek client results
Serve as an industry thought leader by staying up to date on industry and market research, competitor reports, best practices and macro trends; represent the SeatGeek vision at industry conferences, dinners, and workshops
Proactively collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Client Services, and other internal stakeholders to share actionable feedback and work on joint solutions and improvement opportunities
Develop repeatable processes and approaches to enable a scalable sales approach
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years in either enterprise sales, sales consulting or commercial strategy (preferably within the sports and live entertainment industry)
Expertise in ticketing and/or fan experience tooling is highly valued but not required
Previous experience in consulting is preferred
Ability to travel 2 days a week
World-class presentation, communication & interpersonal skills with extensive client or prospect-facing experience
Experience facilitating in-person workshops with C-level clients preferred
Framework-driven approach to synthesizing complex concepts and developing punchy, compelling value propositions for executive audiences
Low ego collaborator and consummate teammate with a reputation for reliability and follow-through
Bias toward action and ability to cut through organizational roadblocks with persistence and diplomacy
Whitespace thinker and entrepreneurial problem-solver comfortable with ambiguity and creative solutioning
