About the role
- Deliver high-quality nursing care during evening and overnight hours to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Implement patient care plans and administer medications.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions.
- Provide support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with RNs and other medical professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Work 12-hour night shifts and participate in shift-based handoffs and care coordination.
Requirements
- Active and unencumbered LVN license in the state of employment.
- Graduation from an accredited vocational nursing program.
- Prior experience in a nursing role, particularly in a long-term care or hospital setting, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a high-stress environment.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Compassion, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
