About the role
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of neurological patients and develop tailored surgical treatment plans.
- Perform a broad spectrum of neurosurgical procedures including brain, spinal, and peripheral nerve surgeries.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, anesthesiologists, and rehabilitation specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure meticulous post-operative care and follow-up to monitor patient progress and manage complications.
- Adhere to UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and international best practices in neurosurgery.
- Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to research and education initiatives within the hospital.
Requirements
- Completion of accredited residency in Neurosurgery.
- Significant experience as a Consultant Neurosurgeon, preferably in hospital or clinical settings.
- Strong proficiency in advanced neurosurgical procedures and techniques.
- Excellent understanding of neuroanatomy and pathophysiology.
- Ability to adapt to new healthcare environments and comply with UAE medical standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team engagement.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice and continuous professional development.
- Willingness to relocate to the UAE and work within a government hospital system.
