About the role
- Perform a variety of cardiac surgical procedures including, but not limited to, coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, and other advanced cardiac surgeries.
- Provide expert consultations and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Coordinate pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, anesthetists, and nursing staff.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in cardiac surgery to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Participate in patient education and counseling to support informed decision-making and adherence to treatment protocols.
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent medical qualification with board certification in cardiac surgery.
- Proven track record with at least 6 years of experience in cardiac surgery, preferably in the private sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in performing a wide range of cardiac surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex cases efficiently.
- Commitment to maintaining clinical excellence and adhering to ethical standards.
- Experience in private healthcare settings is highly advantageous.
