About the role
- Define the vision and create a roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Translate the vision into development tasks
- Understand the product architecture and how it interacts with other products
- Work closely with Product Owners and product analysts to execute the vision
- Take end-to-end ownership of product development
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog
- Be responsible for the product P&L with a focus on unit economics
- Lead R&D initiatives, including A/B testing
- Conduct ongoing market analysis and monitor the competitive landscape
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and managing team members
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the travel industry (NDC, GDS and/or OTA) with expertise in flights
- Strategic mindset with strong decision-making ability
- Experience making data-driven decisions using statistics and market research
- Results- and delivery-oriented; able to work under pressure in a fast-paced role
- Proactive leader with strong business acumen
- Strong technical skills and experience with APIs
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset focused on building culture
- Passion for problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Ability to balance user needs and business objectives by challenging assumptions
