About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own quality for a realistic Search Atlas slice consisting of 6 Express microservices and a Next.js frontend
Evaluate and refine our QABot AI test automation package, identifying and fixing deliberate architectural flaws
Drive the adoption and fluency of Stagehand and Playwright across the engineering organization
Identify and resolve complex bugs across three difficulty tiers (Easy, Medium, and Hard) using distributed traces and CI reports
Translate technical diagnostic findings and architectural judgments into Executive Briefings and Agent Evaluation reports
Analyze pre-generated ops artifacts, including trend analysis and distributed telemetry, to maintain high system reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need

A proven ability to critique and improve test automation architecture at scale
Deep fluency in Playwright and emerging agentic frameworks like Stagehand
A "forensic" approach to troubleshooting distributed systems and microservices
The ability to communicate technical risks and readiness to stakeholders clearly and concisely
