• Assist the credit sales and trading desk with day-to-day market coverage, pricing, and monitoring of secondary market activity.
• Support the preparation of daily market commentary, issuer updates, and trade ideas for internal and client use.
• Maintain and update credit databases, bond curves, and relative value analysis tools.
• Respond to client inquiries and assist with execution support, trade follow-ups, and post-trade processes.
• Conduct fundamental credit analysis, including review of financial statements, capital structures, and event risk.
• Work closely with sales, trading, research, and syndicate teams to support client engagement and execution.

• Confirm trades with clients and post trade allocations in Seaport’s internal system
• Research and reconcile trade posting between Seaport’s internal system and our clearing firm’s system
• Ensure trades are matched before settlement date
• Responsible for trade life cycle from booking to settlement, including post settlement fail resolution

Operations Associate

• Cover English and Mandarin speaking clients for Asia Fixed Income
• Build new and leverage existing client relationships while developing new opportunities
• Pitch creative trade ideas supported by insightful analysis
• Collaborate with investment professionals to assess market dynamics and trading strategies
