About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with OEMs and dealers to drive sales
- Generate new OEM business and implement creative sales strategies
- Build close relationships with targeted OEM accounts
- Plan and execute Seakeeper Ride demo days
- Locate dealers for specific OEM brands
- Assist with installation and sea trials on OEM new model installations
- Travel to OEMs and dealers weekly to maintain contact lists
- Create custom sales packets for OEM sales teams and dealers
- Share program results, industry trends, and creative inspiration
- Support and attend Seakeeper Ride boat shows and events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Boat Captain
- A valid OUPV Six-Pack Captain’s License
- A valid drivers license with an up-to-date CDL or DOT license
- The ability to pass a DOT physical
- A strong mechanical aptitude in boat and trailer maintenance
- Strong knowledge of navigation systems, marine safety, and vessel operation
- Ability to perform manual labor and work in varying weather conditions
- Capable of passing drug screening and participating in random testing programs
- Ability to maintain and keep vessels and company truck presentable
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time
- Charismatic and authentic presentation abilities
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with superior time management, multitasking, organizational and prioritization skills
