Serve as Dealer Sales Representative for Florida & the Caribbean supporting Seakeeper’s Aftermarket team
Provide business development including sales support, installation, troubleshooting, and technical assistance to dealers
Manage existing dealer relationships and develop new ones in key locations
Drive Seakeeper sales through dealer network with account management, education, and training
Document, track, follow up, and close sales leads in NetSuite (CRM)
Stay current and knowledgeable on new and existing product changes and attend internal on-site training in Tampa, FL
Assist in marketing plans and attend events to promote Seakeeper; represent Seakeeper at fishing tournaments and boat shows
Support and maintain world-class customer experience in the region through dealer network
Provide business development guidance on best practices and support the Product Support Team when required
Occasionally address field issues and visit vessels requiring factory-level support for diagnosis, troubleshooting, documentation, or data collection
Report to the Regional Aftermarket Manager (based in Maryland)
Travel anticipated up to 60% of the time, mostly within the assigned territory
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or a 2-year associate degree from an accredited college or technical institute
Mechanical and Electrical technical knowledge
Love for the boating industry
Passion for working with people and a “won’t take no for an answer” attitude
Be professional, responsive, resourceful, flexible and well-organized
Be self-motivated with superior time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills
Be results driven, a proven closer and of unquestionable integrity
Strong computer skills including all Microsoft Office products
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport
Related work experience working in a sales or product support role selling a complex manufactured product (nice-to-have)
Experience in roles such as Sales Rep, Business Development, Engineer, Training Manager, Service Manager, Technical manager, or Product Support Manager (nice-to-have)
Previous experience in the marine industry or dealer/business development (nice-to-have)
Bi-Lingual in Spanish (nice-to-have)
