About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) applications
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions
- AI Assistants and Engineering Copilots
- Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations
- AI Agent and workflow automation solutions
- Design, develop, and evaluate AI-powered prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions
- Build integrations between AI applications and enterprise engineering platforms, such as Windchill PLM, JIRA, TPM, and other business systems
- Develop AI orchestration workflows that leverage multiple engineering systems and data sources to automate and streamline complex business processes
- Assist with data preparation, system integration, validation, and end-to-end testing of AI solutions
- Collaborate with IT leads, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical AI-enabled solutions
- Document designs, implementation approaches, test results, and lessons learned to support solution adoption and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior undergraduate, Master's, or PhD student
- Major in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Data Science, or related disciplines
- Programming experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, or related technologies
- Understanding of software development fundamentals and data structures
- Ability to read and communicate in English in a global work environment
- Experience or coursework in one or more of the following areas:
- Generative AI
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Machine Learning
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- AI Agents
- Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- GitHub Copilot
- LangChain or LlamaIndex
- REST APIs
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Full-Stack Development
- Data Analytics
