About the role
- Work on a variety of projects including silicon development and design / verification of power distribution systems
- Participate in silicon development activities centering on specification, design and validation of full custom integrated power electronics
- Conduct behavioral level modeling and design to help guide vendor efforts
- Work closely with other functional teams to integrate silicon into Seagate end products
- Own voltage budgeting to ensure critical voltage constraints will be satisfied in volume production
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and generate system level models
- Perform simulations to highlight issues and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Electronics development with mixed signal background
- Voltage regulators
- Op-amp circuits
- Transconductance loops
- D/A and A/D converters
- Spice circuit modeling
- Using behavioral Spice constructs
- Comprehensive documentation and presentations using Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 5-8 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 2-4 years of experience, or PHD with 0-2 years of experience
