About the role

  • Bring up a new generation and maintain existing preamp related driver code
  • Involve in development of next generation servo demodulation channel and SOC
  • Failure analysis on servo demodulation related drive failures
  • Develop new algorithms to enhance the robustness of servo system, especially servo channel, Preamp and power management
  • Be part of the team responsible for improving the servo code process
  • Be part of the global servo team to deliver best in class servo design

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience in programming languages, such as C, Python, and MATLAB
  • Familiar with real-time embedded systems and digital signal processing
  • Familiar with Perforce, Jira systems will be an added advantage
  • At least five years’ experience of HDD servo systems, HDD manufacturing process, servo related failure analysis, servo testing, data crunching and analysis
