About the role
- Manage wafer programs throughout their entire lifecycle
- Work with engineers, managers, and production control staff from Bloomington and Springtown (UK)
- Handle issues of moderate to large scope that require analyzing various factors
- Enhance and update factory linearity methods
- Act as main contact for Program Owners to align on deliverables
- Implement automation for operations, buffers, scheduling, and WIP management
- Track yield metrics and report findings
- Establish durable, user-friendly processes for ongoing and future use
- Support Engineer teams with cross-site product transfers, trials, and vendor shipments
- Coordinate shipments with RD engineers, ensuring clear communication and smooth delivery
- Collaborate weekly with RD config team on wafer allocation
- Manage qual inventory and substrate purchases; prevent wafer shortages
- Analyze and visualize data with charts and graphs
- Lead continuous improvement in wafer FAB using Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Business Excellence
- Provide leadership and training support for new planning engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in computer programming and data analytics
- Familiarity with MS Office applications
- Capacity to work effectively in a cleanroom environment
- Willingness to work off-shift hours as necessary
