About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Utilize washers, dryers, and other laundry machinery in accordance with safety and operational guidelines
  • Sort linens, garments, and other items by size, material type, and washing instructions
  • Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring optimal load sizes and proper handling of items
  • Inspect items for stains and damage, applying appropriate treatments and notifying the supervisor of any irreparable items
  • Fold, sort, and organize cleaned items, ensuring they are neatly packed and ready for delivery
  • Keep the laundry area clean and organized, disposing of waste and cleaning supplies in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs to the supervisor
  • Interact with staff professionally, addressing any laundry-related concerns promptly and effectively
  • Properly wear and maintain the Personal Protective Equipment provided by the company
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent level of work and educational experience
  • Experience in hospitality, housekeeping, service industry or similar experience
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred
  • All candidates must pass a background check prior to employment.
