About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Utilize washers, dryers, and other laundry machinery in accordance with safety and operational guidelines
Sort linens, garments, and other items by size, material type, and washing instructions
Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring optimal load sizes and proper handling of items
Inspect items for stains and damage, applying appropriate treatments and notifying the supervisor of any irreparable items
Fold, sort, and organize cleaned items, ensuring they are neatly packed and ready for delivery
Keep the laundry area clean and organized, disposing of waste and cleaning supplies in accordance with health and safety standards
Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs to the supervisor
Interact with staff professionally, addressing any laundry-related concerns promptly and effectively
Properly wear and maintain the Personal Protective Equipment provided by the company
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent level of work and educational experience
Experience in hospitality, housekeeping, service industry or similar experience
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred
All candidates must pass a background check prior to employment.
