About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service to all customers, assisting them with product inquiries, sizing, styling advice, and purchases.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by effectively communicating product features and benefits, upselling additional items, and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment securely.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including restocking merchandise, arranging displays, and ensuring product availability.
  • Stay informed about current trends, product offerings, and promotions to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store objectives, including participating in meetings, training sessions, and special projects as required.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding store operations, safety guidelines, and inventory management to ensure compliance and minimize shrinkage.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise shipments, conducting regular inventory counts, and identifying discrepancies to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to management as needed to ensure swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work and educational experience.
  • Previous customer service or retail experience required.
  • Available to work shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate fluctuating business needs and staffing requirements.
  • All candidates must pass a background check prior to employment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Ability to stand and walk moderate distances for the entire shift.
