Business Development Rep

• Develop and execute regional business plans, identify market opportunities, and lead the full sales cycle to exceed targets.
• Attack long incubation customers and work with them consistently to open opportunities.
• Act as the "go-to" authority on specific products, supporting sales teams with complex pitches, and offering tailored recommendations.
• Support new design, customized product development, and second source opportunities by guiding the sales team to the right products and manufacturers.
• Build and maintain high-level relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners within the assigned region.
• Work closely with territory sales managers, salespeople, and reps to learn of new business opportunities, understand customers and market needs, and to more deeply penetrate existing customers.
• Analyze regional trends as it relates to focused regional business centers, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adjust strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Provide expert input on product development and create training materials for internal teams regarding certain products.
• Determine what new products should be added to the company’s portfolio considering likelihood of success, inventory investment, inventory turns, ROI timelines.
• Broaden SEA’s manufacturer partners list by forming relationships with factories who produce like or adjacent products as used by SEA customers.
