About the role
- Lead and further develop automation, CI/CD and infrastructure standards
- Ensure the stability, scalability and security of DevOps environments
- Define and implement group-wide DevOps best practices
- Build reliable processes for monitoring, alerting and incident response
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to optimize deployment workflows
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the DevOps teams
- Actively contribute to group-wide DevOps initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or related fields
- Demonstrable leadership experience in technical or cross-functional projects
- Expertise with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins or Azure DevOps
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Cloud expertise in AWS, Azure or GCP
- Understanding of IT governance, compliance and security practices
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in German and English
