About the role
- Lead and coordinate all Internal Control and Compliance activities related to mergers, acquisitions and post-merger integration (PMI)
- Conduct due diligence on potential M&A transactions to identify Internal Control & Compliance risks in collaboration with experts and stakeholders
- Define integration plans for Internal Control & Compliance to mitigate identified risks and align to SD Worx standard
- Lead integration projects of newly acquired assets/entities from an Internal Control & Compliance perspective
- Collaborate with M&A and PMI team, cross-functional teams (such as finance), business stakeholders, management and other legal & compliance functions
- Manage stakeholder communication and reporting at all levels
- Assist in development and implementation of processes and best practices related to M&A and PMI activities
- Assist with and manage other Internal Control & Compliance projects as needed
Requirements
- Master's Degree in business management
- Proven track record in project management, preferably within an international company
- Affinity with Internal Control and Compliance and/or ESG
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; fluent in English (oral and written)
- Knowledge of additional languages considered a plus
- Strong attention to detail in planning, documentation, and execution of M&A and PMI activities
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery
- Organizational, analytical, negotiation and contract drafting skills
- Experience working in an international environment, preferably in the services industry
- Proactive, hands-on and can-do mentality
- Willingness to occasionally travel within Europe
