About the role

  • Build and scale backend services and data pipelines powering core products
  • Modernize and replace legacy systems with clean, scalable architectures
  • Develop automation and AI-driven solutions where they meaningfully add value
  • Own features and projects end-to-end, from design through production
  • Work hands-on with cloud infrastructure and microservice-based systems
  • Drive adoption of new technologies and engineering best practices
  • Write high-quality, production-ready code for secure, high-performance systems
  • Tackle real challenges around scale, security, reliability, and performance

Requirements

  • 6+ years as a backend engineer building large-scale, production-grade systems
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python (3+ years) and Go (primary language for new development)
  • Experience in cybersecurity, particularly monitoring, incident response, or defensive operations
  • Experience with serverless solutions and microservice architectures
  • Proven experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with high-volume data systems, ingestion pipelines, or large-scale data processing
  • Strong software design, problem-solving, debugging, and independent execution skills
  • Comfortable taking full ownership of features end-to-end: design → implementation → deployment
  • Independent, versatile team player who thrives in fast-paced environments
