Integrate art and UI into the Unity engine and bring it to life with dynamic animations and VFX.
Implement UI components into Unity using Rect Transform Anchoring for adaptive/responsive layouts in landscape and portrait.
Create Unity animations for UI elements and 2D characters and create VFX using Unity’s native Shuriken particle system.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and non-technical artists to understand game feature requirements and bring game events to life.
Help manage asset bundles, optimizing size, compression, texture atlasing, and overall file organization.
Adhere to and enforce established file structure and naming conventions.
Work closely with the Technical Art Lead to deliver high-quality motion graphics and support LiveOps events and feature development.
Requirements
Strong understanding of Unity’s UI system, animations and animation controllers, the particle system, shaders and materials, optimizations, and troubleshooting.
Excellent 2D & 3D UI, character, and VFX animation experience.
Proficient in Photoshop.
Working knowledge of production tools (Jira, Confluence, Stash/Git, Jenkins).
Working knowledge of asset management and version systems.
Experience in live game development, especially regarding Unity’s Asset Bundling system and cadenced releases.
Proactive with remote communication and collaboration.
Advantage: Experience in C# or scripting languages.
