About the role
- Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities through cold outreach, including email, LinkedIn, and phone.
- Connect with senior stakeholders in data, operations, analytics, and engineering to understand their pain points and qualify their needs
- Use creativity and persistence to book discovery meetings and demos for Account Executives
- Research target industries, accounts, and personas to personalize outreach and improve engagement
- Own your pipeline, follow up consistently, and keep detailed notes in our CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce)
- Partner with marketing and sales leadership to improve messaging, ICP targeting, and outbound strategy.
- Stay informed on trends and tools in the modern data stack (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Snowflake, BigQuery, Airbyte, etc.)
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an SDR role, ideally in B2B SaaS or the data/tech industry
- A natural hunter — someone who loves prospecting, takes ownership, and thrives in high-rejection, high-reward environments
- Clear and confident communicator who can write great emails, speak persuasively, and build rapport quickly
- Strong interest in the data space and curiosity about tools, trends, and customer use
- Tenacious, goal-oriented mindset with the discipline to manage high-volume activity cases, and follow-up
