About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, prospect, and cultivate new business opportunities through a combination of in-person outreach, networking, trade shows, and virtual engagement within an assigned U.S. territory
- Learn each pharmacy’s business model, challenges, and potential solution options
- Develop and present comprehensive proposals to prospective and existing customers
- Apply financial modeling to build business cases and clearly demonstrate return on investment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer account related activities
- Contribute to the development and execution of market-focused sales strategies by providing field insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback
- Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas by driving new business and expanding existing accounts
- Ability to travel up to 35% within the United States as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
- 5+ years of sales experience, outside sales preferred
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and driving results
- In-depth knowledge of the U.S. independent retail pharmacy market, including operations and workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Experience with Salesforce preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex concepts, including financial impact and ROI models
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across cross-functional teams and organizational levels
- Demonstrated ability to apply active listening, ask effective questions, and close business opportunities
- Strong customer focus with the ability to balance customer needs and business objectives while representing the organization professionally
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess opportunities and communicate value through financial and cost-justification tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage follow-up activities and multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently while contributing to team success
