Provides vision and leadership in the design and development of highly effective education products to meet a client’s specific needs
Works directly with the Director of Publishing Operations and Content Manager
Weaves research-based pedagogy and subject matter expertise into market-leading products
Acts as a project manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience developing content for K-12 students for publication at the state or national level
2+ years of teaching experience
Proven effectiveness at leading teams, working across teams, and/or participating in the design of a curriculum at the direction of an organization’s leadership
Proven effectiveness at reviewing content for standards alignment, clarity, and cohesion
Strong familiarity with both digital and print development projects
Strong understanding of grade-appropriate content, college- and career-ready standards, and pedagogy
Current on relevant research
Ability to adhere to client requirements and deadlines
Significant experience working in publishing tools (Content templates, InCopy, assessment platforms, etc.)
Belief that all students are capable of engaging in rigorous, meaningful work.
