Product Designer
ScreenPoint MedicalProduct Designer shaping AI product experiences for breast cancer care. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create intuitive product interfaces and workflows in Nijmegen.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design product experiences: Turn product strategy into mockups, prototypes, and production-ready UI across our breast AI product family, balancing clinical value, regulatory requirements, and partner commitments
- Map clinical and patient workflows: Collaborate with Product Managers and Clinical Scientists to map breast imaging workflows — from radiologist reading and reporting today to broader care team and patient interactions as our products evolve
- Identify where AI fits, how it should be presented, and where workflow friction creates opportunity
- Run customer and user research: Plan and conduct structured interviews with radiologists, healthcare professionals, and patients worldwide
- Synthesize findings into validated design decisions and feed them into PM and R&D backlogs
- Own the design system and visual language: Maintain and evolve the cross-product design language component library, color system, brand consistency across Transpara products and partner integrations
- Bridge design, clinical, and R&D: Act as the design link from concept through delivery, surfacing risks, forcing decisions, and ensuring clinical insights translate into product decisions
- Visualize strategy: Develop northstar visuals and concept artifacts that align R&D, Clinical, and Commercial on product direction.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years as a Product Designer / UX Designer with a strong portfolio of shipped product work
- Demonstrated ability to design for complex professional users (B2B, expert tooling, technical or scientific workflows); experience designing patient-facing or consumer healthcare products is a plus
- Hands-on user research experience: planning and running structured interviews, synthesizing findings, translating insight into design decisions
- Strong visual design craft: comfortable owning UI design, design systems, and brand-consistent product experiences
- Experience working in or closely with cross-functional R&D teams (software, AI, data science, clinical)
- Strong communication skills: able to bridge design, technical, clinical, and partner perspectives.
