About the role
- Translate strategy into action: Turn MRI Diagnostics & Treatment product vision and priorities into actionable items for R&D, balancing clinical value, regulatory requirements, and partner commitments.
- Drive stakeholder alignment: Lead cross-functional and partner discussions, proactively surface risks and dependencies, and ensure transparent communication across teams and organizations.
- Own the product backlog: Define, refine, and prioritize backlog items based on clinical workflows, user needs, and MRI-specific interoperability and integration requirements.
- Bridge product, clinical, and R&D: Act as the operational link between product leadership, development teams, and clinical stakeholders, ensuring alignment from discovery through delivery.
- Integrate clinical insights into product decisions: Work closely with Clinical Scientists to translate clinical studies, performance data, and emerging evidence into product requirements, value propositions, and roadmap decisions.
- Clarify user, clinical, and IT needs: Collaborate with domain experts, customers, and partners to ensure requirements reflect real-world diagnostic and treatment pathways, aligned with standards such as DICOM, HL7, IHE, and FHIR.
- Support scalable and compliant product development: Bring structure and clarity to processes that enable efficient, high-quality delivery in a regulated medical environment (MDR/FDA).
Requirements
- +5 years experience working in medical imaging workflows and/or clinical software, including DICOM, HL7, FHIR and deployment of software products that interact with hospital IT networks.
- Experience working in or closely with cross-functional R&D teams (software, AI, data science, clinical) in a regulated healthtech or medical device environment (MDR, FDA).
- Strong clinical affinity and the ability to understand and reason about diagnostic and treatment workflows
- Experience collaborating with large organizations and strategic partners (preferably OEMs) and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong communication skills: able to bridge technical, clinical, regulatory, partner, and business perspectives.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira.
- Demonstrated expertise in breast radiology and/or breast MRI workflows, including diagnostic flow and clinical practice.
- Experience contributing to products supported by clinical evidence (e.g. clinical studies, performance claims, PMS/PMCF inputs).
- Experience as a Product Manager in healthtech or medical devices.
