About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Initiate contact with anesthesia clinicians post-contract and guide them through onboarding, site orientation, system access, credentialing, enrollment, and privileging requirements
  • Track onboarding progress and maintain accurate clinician data in Salesforce and other internal systems
  • Collect clinician availability, preferences, competencies, and shift commitments across anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and AAs
  • Build and maintain monthly anesthesia schedules in Qgenda for OR blocks, call coverage, late rooms, and post-call relief
  • Align schedules with anesthesia care team models, supervision ratios, state and payer rules, and site-specific case mix requirements
  • Manage shift confirmations, cancellations, swaps, late room run-overs, and APAY/Holiday Pay entries
  • Partner with medical directors, lead CRNAs, and hospital OR/perioperative leadership to resolve coverage gaps
  • Ensure First Schedule Dates and clinician details are accurately recorded in Salesforce
  • Verify Qgenda payroll hours, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate payroll submissions
  • Assist clinicians with pay and reimbursement questions and track expense reimbursements
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned anesthesia clinicians and support engagement, retention, and issue resolution
  • Guide offboarding and complete documentation, final pay items, and call/stipend reconciliations
  • Support reporting and analytics on clinician satisfaction, schedule quality, open shift rate, premium spend, and post-call compliance
  • Identify improvements to workflows and scheduling logic and support standardization, automation, training, and cross-functional alignment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, clinician support, or healthcare operations scheduling
  • Two or more years of experience in a customer service position
  • Working knowledge of the anesthesia care team model and supervision ratio concepts
  • Familiarity with OR block scheduling, call coverage models, post-call rest expectations, and late room dynamics
  • Experience scheduling high volumes of healthcare staff or clinicians is a plus
  • Experience in a professional or medical office environment is a plus
  • Anesthesia scheduling experience
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in fast-paced, high-volume environments with attention to detail
  • Ability to negotiate and engage with clinicians and perioperative leaders
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Comfort working in high-tempo, time-sensitive environments with frequent schedule changes
