About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Providing essential coordination and operational support to advance rural health initiatives across participating hospitals, clinics, and community partners
  • Serving as the central connector for communication, project tracking, grant support, documentation, and reporting activities that strengthen collaboration across the Network
  • Partnering closely with hospital CEOs, administrators, and stakeholders to ensure alignment, follow-through, and successful execution of Network priorities
  • Organizing and facilitating Network meetings, including agendas, materials, minutes, and action tracking
  • Connecting with hospital leaders and partners to share updates, gather input, and ensure alignment
  • Monitoring project timelines, deliverables, and progress across multiple rural health initiatives
  • Preparing reports, summaries, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
  • Supporting grant-related activities, including documentation, tracking, and reporting
  • Maintaining accurate records, contact lists, and communication logs for the Network
  • Identifying gaps, delays, or barriers and escalating issues appropriately
  • Assisting with planning events, training sessions, and collaborative activities
  • Traveling to partner sites and meetings across rural Nebraska

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, project management, nursing, information technology, or a related field required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of appropriate auto insurance required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare, administrative coordination, project coordination, grant support, quality improvement, rural health, hospital operations, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and levels of leadership
  • Experience with meeting facilitation, documentation, and follow-up tracking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and data tracking
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with rural health partners and leaders
  • Comfort working with remote meeting platforms and digital tools
