About the role
- Support the delivery of activities underpinning the Information Governance Framework.
- Provide support for Freedom of Information requests and advise colleagues on obligations.
- Support preparatory work for transferring funding and delivery of training programmes.
- Advise on Information Governance issues, risks, and legislative requirements.
- Support compliance with information security and information management.
- Develop positive relationships with stakeholders and internal partners.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing regarding information management.
- Manage competing demands and legislative deadlines efficiently.
Requirements
- Experience of working within information management and supporting data protection and information governance.
- Good understanding of information management and governance in the public sector.
- Awareness of connections between various legislations and implications for information governance.
- Ability to manage workload effectively with competing priorities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to reach reliable judgements based on complex information.
- Experience of developing and managing key stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to develop training and guidance appropriate for non-specialists.
- Qualified to SCQF Level 9 (Degree) or equivalent experience.
- Experience of using Microsoft systems to support records management requirements (desirable).
