About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent their sector on NSTAB, with member’s views considered the views of the sector
  • Promote effective NSTAB collaboration
  • Advise the Board on broader transport strategy and provide insight of how smart ticketing can contribute to wider objectives
  • Attend meetings of NSTAB
  • Work with the chairperson and other board members on integrated ticketing and payment policy
  • Fairly and considerately represent the respective sector on the Board
  • Contribute to reports and advice as requested by the chairperson
  • Develop and deliver NSTAB’s objectives
  • Participate in working groups to support NSTAB’s objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strategic knowledge and insight of how smart ticketing can contribute to wider transport objectives and delivery in Scotland
  • The ability to represent the Scottish transport strategy sector, with strong sector leadership and representation.
  • Decision making in the context of longer term planning / seeing the bigger picture
  • Working cooperatively with constructive and supportive challenge.
