About the role
- Manage grants and supervise external stakeholders
- Oversee delivery of active travel and bus infrastructure projects
- Develop comprehensive project plans for sustainable travel
- Support development of interactive maps for active travel network
- Collaborate with Local Authorities and other stakeholders
- Prepare correspondence and briefing for Ministers
- Provide line management to Graduate Civil Engineers and Transport Planners
Requirements
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Chartered Transport Planning Professional (CTPP)
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Membership of a professional body
- Registered with the Engineering Council (for CEng) or CTPP qualification (for CPP)
- Strong Project Management and Financial Management skills
- Excellent organisational and action planning skills
- Ability to evaluate financial information
- Familiarity with Scottish Government financial reporting
