About the role
- Lead the strategic vision of the Internal Audit function
- Contribute to the development of the Internal Audit Strategy
- Provide people management and oversight to teams delivering assurance services
- Ensure audit plans are delivered to high quality and within budget
- Engage with senior stakeholders to provide expert advice and insights
- Support the Director of Internal Audit and Assurance in capability building
Requirements
- Chartered member of the Institute of Internal Auditors UK & Ireland or equivalent professional qualification in Accountancy
- Proven track record in successfully leading and managing internal audit teams
- Skilled in identifying and managing risk across complex client portfolios
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels
- Experience working with senior leaders and Audit Committees
