Standardization Instructor – CH47
Science and Engineering Services, LLCStandardization Instructor providing helicopter training and evaluation for non-rated crewmembers. Focusing on instruction, analysis, and technical proficiency in helicopter operations and systems.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides instruction, evaluation and examination on ground and operational training flights
- Conducts student training in courses involving helicopter repair and operation
- Serves as subject matter expert in helicopter systems operation
- Participates in development and technical accuracy of Program of Instruction (POI)
- Administers, grades, and critiques examinations and student progress
- Conducts training in a field environment
- Applies instructional methods including lecture, demonstration, and practical exercises
- Employs training aids and equipment for instructional material presentation
- Prepares for classes by reviewing lesson plans and course materials
- Contributes to the development and redesign of programs of instruction
- Conducts cross training of other instructors
- Recommends course content changes
- Assists in arranging and writing lesson plans and course material
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree is a plus
- CH-47 Flight Instructor / Standardization Course (NRCM)
- The Army Instructor Training Course – TAITC is a plus
- Flight or Standardization Instructor Experience in a CH-47F within the last 3 years
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a FAA Class II Flight Physical
- Must be willing to travel up to 30-50%
- Must have Flight Records on hand
- Instructor/Writer/Developer experience is a plus
