About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design, implementation, and modernization of observability platforms
- Define architecture standards and patterns for enterprise observability
- Architect large-scale Splunk and Databricks environments
- Develop reference architectures and executive-level presentations
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
- Integrate observability datasets with AI/ML platforms
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Observability, Monitoring, or Security Analytics
- 5+ years architecting large-scale Splunk environments
- 3+ years designing Databricks Lakehouse architectures
- Strong experience with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, and Databricks
- Experience managing environments exceeding 50 TB/day preferred, 100+ TB/day strongly preferred
- Experience leading enterprise transformation programs
- Deep expertise in Splunk ITSI, Enterprise Security, and SPL Development
- Strong knowledge of Kafka, OpenTelemetry, and cloud technologies
- Preferred certifications in Splunk and Databricks
