About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct KYC and due diligence checks
  • Transaction monitoring, including sanctions and embargo screening
  • Perform operational compliance checks in a regulatory/supervisory context
  • Regulatory monitoring and analysis of supervisory/regulatory changes
  • Conduct and document risk assessments
  • Support the implementation of regulatory requirements in client projects
  • Assist with examinations, audits and internal control processes
  • Work with banks and financial services providers, fintechs and payment service providers, securities service providers, asset management companies, and regulated non-financial enterprises

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Early-career to several years of professional experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or financial services
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, e.g. EBA Guidelines, BaFin communications, MaRisk, DORA, ESMA Guidelines, WpIG, WpHG, and MaComp
  • Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree, e.g. in Economics, Law, Finance, or a comparable field
  • Structured, careful, and analytical working style
  • Interest in regulatory topics and their practical implementation
  • Team player with a professional and reliable demeanor
