About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Overall responsibility for the technical service division of the corporate group across three sites
  • Focused on sales and on the strategic and operational development of one of the company’s two product and service portfolios
  • Stabilize the customer base and drive sustainable growth through new customers and innovative services/products
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the teams
  • Stabilize customer relationships and actively develop the market
  • Expand existing application areas and identify new ones
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs
  • Responsible for proposal strategies, pricing, and contract negotiations
  • Participate in trade fairs, conferences, and industry events
  • Recruit and onboard missing key personnel in the service business
  • Ensure high service quality, strong customer focus, and market presence
  • Develop and scale the service portfolio
  • Close collaboration with the parent company
  • Responsible for budget, target achievement, business development & operational excellence
  • Develop and maintain the product and service portfolio

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Leadership experience as Head of Sales, Managing Director, or Division Manager in an industrial environment
  • Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or Industrial Engineering with a technical focus
  • Knowledge of industry, service/engineering, or MSR (measurement, control and regulation) technology
  • Proven experience in building and developing service organizations
  • Sales experience in technically demanding services
  • Experience leading multiple locations and diverse teams
  • Strong business management and strategic skills
  • Strong product management skills for services and technical products
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong customer orientation and a good sense for market changes and trends
  • German native speaker; very good English skills
