About the role

  • New Partnership Development Initiate Conversation
  • Contact leadership of rescue missions and other Christian ministries that serve the poor to set up initial meetings.
  • Relationship Building Develop relationships with rescue missions and other Christian ministries.
  • Develop & Deepen Existing Partnerships Foster relationships to grow existing partnerships.
  • Creative Solutions Work with CVU academic leadership to develop creative solutions to educational and training needs.
  • Attend conferences, workshops and events to set up meetings.
  • Attend regular staff meetings & supervision meetings including an annual in-person staff gathering.
  • Assist in areas as needed by mutual agreement.

Requirements

  • Individuals must have at least an accredited Bachelor's degree
  • Previous work experience with Gospel Rescue Missions, Salvation Army, Adult & Teen Challenge, YWAM or similar ministry
  • Have a demonstrated commitment to our Christian mission, vision and values focused on serving those who are poor and addicted
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
  • Very strong technical expertise is required (extensive experience or training with Customer Relationship Management Database, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheets and Windows).
  • Comfortable initiating cold outreach and following up persistently and professionally
  • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident alien with valid work authorization.
