About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and execute the product vision for Schneider Geospatial's Permitting & Licensing solutions.
  • Partner with the CPO and executive leadership to align product strategy with company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Translate customer feedback, regulatory trends, and competitive insights into a compelling product roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering to translate product strategy into actionable user stories, features, and technical priorities.
  • Manage product backlogs and drive execution using Agile methodologies.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Implementation teams to ensure successful product adoption and measurable customer outcomes.
  • Develop data-driven business cases for new features and enhancements that create customer and business value.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to understand operational challenges and opportunities for innovation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within SaaS, GovTech, workflow automation, or business process software.
  • Experience with permitting, licensing, inspections, community development, land management, or related government technologies strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate customer needs into product strategy, roadmaps, and feature prioritization.
  • Familiarity with modern SaaS architectures (.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL) and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Understanding of modern web application frameworks (Angular, React) and user experience principles.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using customer data and metrics to drive product decisions.
  • Experience working with Agile teams and tools such as Jira.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Public Administration, GIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
