About the role
- Own reliability, scalability, and structure of data at Schema App
- Design and operate data pipelines, models, and storage layers
- Ensure availability, accuracy, and performance of data for analytics
- Build robust data platforms connecting operational systems and BI
- Mentor peers on data engineering best practices
Requirements
- Strong expertise in SQL
- Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Flink / Spark
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with AWS Glue, EMR, batch APIs
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes using RDF, schema.org
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Ability to apply system design and analytical thinking to data engineering tasks.
- Strong understanding of data governance standards
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration to meet data requirements
