About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and oversee the full Finance Delivery function, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Master Data, Payment Process, Intercompany, and Travel Expenses Management.
Lead and develop Delivery Managers and their teams; ensure business continuity, service levels, and a robust control environment.
Contribute to the design, implementation, and execution of the Shared Services Americas strategy.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements; maintain audit readiness.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
Define and govern chain KPI frameworks and drive performance against targets.
Ensure proper accounting of fixed assets, intercompany, reconciliations, and depreciation.
Own end-to-end performance of the Order-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report chains.
Partner with Divisions, regional Finance leadership, and Group functions; represent SSC Americas as a value-adding business partner.
Lead finance transformation and process transition initiatives, automation decisions, capacity shifts, and reskilling.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience in shared services, GBS, or finance operations, including senior leadership of delivery teams
10+ years of leadership experience in finance
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with key business areas and senior leadership
Demonstrated end-to-end process transformation in O2C, S2P, and/or R2R with measurable results in cost, quality, and cycle time
Lean / Six Sigma or equivalent process discipline
Experience in an S/4HANA environment
Leadership of 50+ FTE in a delivery organization
Multicultural / regional leadership experience across the Americas
Strong expertise in accounting, financial operations, and IFRS
Solid knowledge of internal controls, governance, and compliance frameworks
Strong data-driven performance management and executive communication skills
Fluent English and Spanish
