About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set up and program operating machines, including accuracy and effectiveness checks in first test sequences
- Oversee machine ramp-up after setup and support Operators in operating machines
- Support maintenance with machine repair, downtime prevention, and inspections
- Follow documented procedures and processes and maintain accurate records and tracking
- Check finished products/product components and submit them for approval
- Follow safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to use measuring instruments and identify defects
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communications in English
- Ability to operate medium-complex machinery for inspection
- Good visual acuity
- Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
- Minimum of two (2) years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience working with power tools preferred
- Ability to read blueprints preferred
