About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and coordinate regional activities related to energy management and green production across North and South American locations.
Support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 50001 Energy Management System in alignment with corporate requirements.
Drive initiatives to improve energy efficiency, water efficiency, and landfill reduction.
Collect, validate, analyze and maintain energy and sustainability-related data.
Support and collaborate with corporate, EHS, regional colleagues across the Schaeffler Production System organization.
Plan and coordinate complex non-routine repairs or infrastructure investments, and lead projects in cooperation with Engineering, IT and/or Digitalization, for facilities assigned.
Cooperate with Industrial Engineering in the continuous optimization of facilities and technical infrastructure.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field.
Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
Advanced engineering & physics knowledge.
Strong leadership skills.
Advanced communication and presentation skills (written & verbal).
Continuous improvement approach.
Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results.
Preferred: Experience with ISO management systems.
Preferred: Experience in facility or supply system engineering, construction, or industrial maintenance.
