About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set up and operate all required manual production processes
  • Perform basic problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by handheld and/or hand operated equipment
  • Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work
  • Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems
  • Required to train other operators as needed
  • May be required to perform other manual operations in other departments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education: Grade 12 diploma
  • Mechanical aptitude and dexterity
  • Ability to read and interpret production prints
  • Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work
  • Candidate must be able to pass Canadian Controlled Goods Assessment and criminal background check and be compliant with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
