About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment
- Perform problem solving and trouble shoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards
- Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process/machine
- Routinely check process/machine for basic maintenance and take correction action in a timely matter
- Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work
- Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems
- Required to train other operators as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Grade 12 diploma
- Equivalent machining background or mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret production prints
- Required computer skills to access production procedures
