About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parameter setting according to work order information
- Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes
- Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts and follow proper protocol
- Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines
- Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to use instruments for measuring and to identify defects
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to operate basic machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Good visual acuity
- Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
