About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the end-to-end Omniverse product lifecycle within the Industrial Metaverse program.
- Define, set up, and maintain Schaeffler's IT framework for Omniverse in compliance with IT security and enterprise standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams, coordinating efforts across infrastructure, data, and application development streams.
- Define technical requirements and specifications for Omniverse implementations, including interoperability with legacy systems (3DX, PlantSim, NavVis, NATS etc.).
- Act as the focal point for NVIDIA Omniverse system administration, platform scaling, and DevOps processes.
- Support product roadmap development with a strong focus on technical feasibility and innovation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as Technical Product Owner (or similar role) in the Industrial Digitalization or Metaverse domain, preferably with NVIDIA Omniverse exposure.
- Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, cloud computing (Azure /AWS), system integration, and platform engineering.
- Hands-on experience with software development lifecycles, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of interface design, API integration, and middleware connecting engineering tools and shopfloor data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
