About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end Omniverse product lifecycle within the Industrial Metaverse program.
  • Define, set up, and maintain Schaeffler's IT framework for Omniverse in compliance with IT security and enterprise standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, coordinating efforts across infrastructure, data, and application development streams.
  • Define technical requirements and specifications for Omniverse implementations, including interoperability with legacy systems (3DX, PlantSim, NavVis, NATS etc.).
  • Act as the focal point for NVIDIA Omniverse system administration, platform scaling, and DevOps processes.
  • Support product roadmap development with a strong focus on technical feasibility and innovation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience as Technical Product Owner (or similar role) in the Industrial Digitalization or Metaverse domain, preferably with NVIDIA Omniverse exposure.
  • Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, cloud computing (Azure /AWS), system integration, and platform engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with software development lifecycles, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of interface design, API integration, and middleware connecting engineering tools and shopfloor data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
