About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide operational maintenance for tools assigned, used in the production
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on tools and tool related equipment
- Assemble and disassemble tools and tool components according to technical drawings and specifications
- Inspect tools for wear and damage, and perform quality control checks
- Maintain maintenance and repair logs
- Document completed work thoroughly
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school Diploma or Equivalent
- Technical degree/certificate in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Tool & Die, Machining, or related field is desirable
- 3+ years' experience building tooling
- 3+ years' experience in grinding machines
- Knowledge and experience about transfer and progressive presses
- Utilize instruments for measuring
- Experience in reading instructions and writing clear communication
- Good visual acuity
